ballet conditioning

Ballet Barre and Conditioning: Develop a sense of inner grace, coordination, and balance. For beginning level teens and adults.

The class consists of conditioning exercises unique to ballet dancers, including the use of stretch bands, balls, and ballet barre. This is followed by a classical ballet barre, complete with ballet stretches. The class is designed for those interested in ballet movement who may have prior experience or who have always wanted to be able to move in a more graceful way, with more poise and confidence.

Practiced with accompanying music, you can develop your rhythmic abilities, memory, and mind-body coordination as well.

Ballet shoes recommended; check our "Resources / Links" page for a link to canvas ballet slippers. And, no, you don't need to wear a ballet tutu. You do need to wear close fitting leggings (such as yoga pants) and T-shirt.
